In the only match of the T20 Serbian Premier League, Stari Grad beat Centurion CC for 68 runs and almost secured this years title. <\/p>\n
The match was played on a wet ground, very difficult for play. Stari Grad did not start well, however the West Indian 7th wicket partnership between Burton and Henderson managed to finish the innings with 118 runs, a good score given the match conditions. On the other hand, the openers of Centurion started solidly, however, after the second wicket fall in the 11th over, the batting line-up collapsed by the third ball of 17th over.<\/p>\n
The match had a charity character, as the players and visitors could give donations for the animals saved from the floods. The action was co-organized with “Veterina Beograd” – the Belgrade veterinary institution, and supported by “Scott’s Cider”, which provided refreshments for yesterday’s match and a financial donation. <\/p>\n
After three rounds of the Serbian T20 championship, Stari grad is topping the table with three wins, followed by the Reservoir Dogs with 2 wins. Centurion CC and Bodrog Deer CC have played only two matches and are still to achieve their first win. <\/p>\n
