Serbian Cricket Federation was one of the sports present at the Sports Fair in Belgrade, 27-29th of November 2014. The Fair was co-organized by the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports, Serbian Sports Association and the National Institute for Sport. The SCF had its own stand and had an opportunity to promote cricket through demonstration, projection of matches, q&a sessions with our players and browsing of cricket themed magazines and books. 

The official 30min demonstration of cricket took place on Friday at 4:30pm. A big number of visitors showed significant interest in cricket skills demonstrated by some of our best cricketers: Nebojša Đurić, Dragan Đokić, Bogdan Dugić, Boško Didanović, Aleksa Đorović, Mustafizur Apon and Wintley Burton.

The general secretary of the SCF, Vladimir Ninkovic, renewed the National Certificate by attending the annual National Seminar for sport professionals and administrators in the Serbian Sports System.

The SCF stand was one of the most popular ones both among the visitors and among the Serbian sports VIPs. Among others, our stand was visited by the Minister of Youth and Sports, a famous water-polo player, Mr. Vanja Udovicic, the Secretary of Ministry – a celebrated handball player, Mr. Predrag Perunicic, a record holding athlete  – Mr. Dane Korica, as well as the heads and representatives of other sports such as Rugby League, Rugby Union, Baseball, American Football, Fencing, Aikido and other associations.
