SCF finished 2015 with a very successful initiative – Free school of cricket for Belgrade elementary children. After a month of a hard work and promotions in dozen central Belgrade and New Belgrade elementary schools, finally the core of over fifty kids aged 13-15 was established at the two indoor halls – “Milan Gale Muškatirović” Sports Centre in the central Belgrade neighborhood of Dorćol and the elementary school „Jovan Sterija Popović“ in New Belgrade.
After the first three months of training, where through various games kids were taught more to enjoy the cricket than to learn how to bat in „V“ or how to hold the line when bowling, a more serious period of formation of young cricketers arrived marked by the first U15 indoor cricket tournament.
